Abstract

Una geomalla integral multicapa, que incluye una o más capas celulares, tiene una pluralidad de filamentos multicapa orientados que se interconectan mediante uniones multicapa parcialmente orientadas con un conjunto de aberturas en las mismas. La geomalla integral multicapa con una o más capas celulares se fabrica a partir de una lámina de partida polimérica multicapa coextruida o laminada. La geomalla integral tiene una estructura multicapa, con al menos una capa exterior que tiene la estructura celular. En virtud de la estructura celular de la capa, la geomalla integral multicapa proporciona una mayor compresibilidad vertical de la capa bajo carga, lo que redunda en propiedades de material mejoradas que aportan ventajas de rendimiento al uso de la geomalla integral multicapa para estabilizar y reforzar suelos, áridos u otros materiales particulados.
