Abstract
Esta invención se refiere a juntas, aparatos que incorporan a dichas juntas y a métodos para usarlas. En particular, se proporciona una junta que comprende un bucle cerrado de material elástico, teniendo el bucle una periferia interna y una periferia externa, teniendo la junta un primer espesor en una primera posición que está entre 0% y 30% del ancho de la junta alejándose de la periferia externa, un segundo espesor en una segunda posición medida en un punto al menos 50% de la anchura de la junta desde la primera y un tercer espesor en una tercera posición intermedia entre la primera y segunda posiciones y al menos el 10% de la anchura de la junta de cada uno, siendo el primer espesor mayor que el tercer espesor que es mayor que el segundo espesor, y en donde cualquiera a. dicha junta se reduce en espesor desde el primer espesor al tercer espesor y luego al segundo espesor a través de una o más secciones ahusadas que se estrechan linealmente hasta un espesor reducido en dirección hacia la periferia interna, o b. dicha junta se reduce en espesor desde el primer espesor hasta el tercer espesor a través de una o más niveles que pasan a un espesor reducido en dirección hacia la periferia interna y luego desde el tercer espesor hasta el segundo espesor a través de una o más niveles que pasan a un espesor reducido en dirección hacia la periferia interna, o ...
