Abstract

En un sistema de comunicación inalámbrico, se puede utilizar la agregación de portadoras para proporcionar cantidades deseadas de ancho de banda, en donde se agregan una portadora primaria y una o más portadoras secundarias. En el lado de recepción de un sistema en donde las portadoras agregadas se encuentran en una sola banda de frecuencia, se puede usar un amplificador para aplicar una ganancia común a las portadoras agregadas en la única banda de frecuencia, y la ganancia común se puede determinar como una función de indicaciones de la calidad de la señal recibida asociada con grupos de portadoras agregadas que contienen una o más de las portadoras agregadas, en donde un grupo contiene la portadora primaria y posibles una o más portadoras secundarias y otro grupo contiene solamente portadoras secundarias.
