Abstract
Система для ослабления повреждений, вызванных излучаемой энергией, взрывной волной или явлениями ударного характера, заключается в приложении давления по меньшей мере к одной яремной вене в целях уменьшения кровотока, выходящего из черепной полости во время действия поражающего фактора или перед его воздействием. Уменьшение кровотока, выходящего из черепной полости, увеличивает внутричерепной объем и/или давление спинномозговой жидкости в целях снижения риска ЧМТ и повреждений позвоночного столба. Уменьшение выходящего кровотока дополнительно увеличивает внутричерепной давление и объем и тем самым увеличивает давление и объем кохлеарной жидкости, жидкой части стекловидного тела и спинномозговой жидкости, что тем самым снижает риск повреждения внутреннего уха, внутренних структур глаза и позвоночного столба. Кроме того, увеличение внутричерепного давления и объема уменьшает вероятность повреждения головного мозга и связанной с этим потери обонятельной функции.
