Abstract
Настоящее изобретение касается идентификации, молекулярной характеристики и использования генов и маркеров из хромосомного интервала, содержащего локус холодоустойчивости у кукурузы. Изобретение также относится к разработке молекулярных маркеров для содействия росту, в частности для предотвращения фиксации "селективного выметания" на участке с низкой частотой рекомбинации и получению трансгенных и нетрансгенных растений кукурузы, обладающих новоприданной или повышенной холодоустойчивостью.
