Изобретение относится к способам очистки разнообразных углеводородных сред, в том числе жидкого углеводородного сырья, газообразных смесей углеводородов и т.п., от сероводорода и меркаптанов при отсутствии окислителя - кислорода воздуха. Описан способ очистки углеводородных сред от HS и/или меркаптанов, в котором углеводородное сырье обрабатывают композицией для очистки, содержащей водный раствор нитрита щелочного металла, водорастворимый амин и/или аммиак, или смесь водорастворимого амина и/или аммиака и сильного неорганического основания в присутствии металлов переменной валентности, при этом способ осуществляют при отсутствии кислорода, а металлы переменной валентности используют в высокой степени окисления. Технический результат - исключение проблемы уноса паров легких фракций и экологических проблем утилизации (сжигания) отработанного воздуха при очистке нефти или нефтяных фракций.The invention relates to methods for cleaning a variety of hydrocarbon environments, including liquid hydrocarbon raw materials, gaseous mixtures of hydrocarbons, etc., from hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans in the absence of an oxidizing agent — oxygen from the air. The technical result is the elimination of the problem of vapor loss of light fractions and environmental problems of disposal (incineration) of exhaust air when cleaning oil or oil fractions.
