Abstract

Предложены способы и композиции для идентификации молекулярно-диагностического теста на онкологическое заболевание. Данный тест можно применять при различных типах рака и в отношении различных лекарственных препаратов, которые напрямую или опосредованно воздействуют на повреждение или систему репарации ДНК, таких как многие стандартные цитотоксические химиотерапевтические лекарства, применяемые в настоящее время. В частности, изобретение относится к применению определенных комбинаций прогностических маркеров, при этом экспрессия прогностических маркеров коррелирует со способностью или неспособностью ответить на терапевтический режим.Methods and compositions are proposed for identifying a molecular diagnostic test for cancer. The test determines the new molecular subtype of the DNA damage repair system deficiency and classifies the patient within this subtype. The invention can be applied to determine whether a patient with cancer is able to give a clinical response to a therapeutic regimen or is incapable of providing a clinical response to a therapeutic regimen before administering any chemotherapy. This test can be used for various types of cancer and for various drugs that directly or indirectly affect the damage or DNA repair system, such as many of the standard cytotoxic chemotherapeutic drugs currently used. In particular, the invention relates to the use of certain combinations of prognostic markers, wherein the expression of prognostic markers correlates with the ability or inability to respond to a therapeutic regimen.
