Abstract

При сохранении высокой степени свободы в выборе форматов сегментов и форматов преобразования, адаптированных к локальным свойствам видеокадров, снижается объём метаданных. Устройство (10) кодирования видеокадров делит вводимые видеокадры на блоки предписанного формата и кодирует видеокадры по блокам. В устройстве кодирования видеокадров имеются блок (102) определения параметра предсказания, который принимает решение о сегментной структуре блока; блок (103) выработки предсказанного изображения, который посегментно вырабатывает предсказанные изображения, как предписано сегментной структурой; блок (107) выработки коэффициента преобразования, который применяет одно из частотных преобразований, включённых в заранее заданный набор предписанных преобразований, к остаткам предсказания, т.е. разностям между предсказанными изображениями и вводимыми видеокадрами; блок (104) выведения ограничения преобразования, который вырабатывает список возможных преобразований, т.е. списки частотных преобразований, которые могут быть применены к каждому сегменту, на основе данных формата сегмента; и блок (108) кодирования с переменной длиной кодового слова, который на основе списка возможных преобразований и заранее заданного набора преобразований выполняет кодирование с переменной длиной кодового слова меток выбора преобразования.
