The aim of the invention is thus to provide a more versatile fiber that, on the one hand, could be manufactured for a specific use, and, on the other hand, the cost of its manufacture and the materials from which it is made, would be lower. According to the invention, the plastics layer is composed of at least two plies of different plastics using a co-extrusion process. A co-extrusion step separates the various properties of the plastics used.
