Abstract

Защитная система для программного обеспечения персонального компьютера, хранящегося на CD-ром-диске, предотвращает нелегальное копирование (взлом хакерами), имеет очень низкую цену. Тот же самый CD-ром-диск, который содержит прикладное программное обеспечение, служит "защитным ключом". CD-ром-диск подвергается в процессе изготовления специальной обработке, результатом которой является создание проверочного кольца. Данная система использует особый метод для подтверждения подлинности проверочного кольца. Существование проверочного кольца и использование процедуры проверки подлинности делают копирование CD-ром-диска невозможным даже с использованием самого современного записывающего оборудования. Данная система имеет много преимуществ по сравнению с другими методами защиты: великолепная защита, невидимость для конечного пользователя и очень низкая стоимость, так как "защитным ключом" является тот же самый CD-ром-диск, который содержит приложение. Данная система может быть использована для защиты любого прикладного программного обеспечения для PC-совместимых компьютеров, хранящегося на CD-роме и работающего в обеспечении DOS или Windows.
