Abstract

The invention relates to cosmetic industry and is intended for hair care of women and more particularly it belongs to anti-alopecia agents based on medicinal vegetable feedstock. The objective of the proposed invention is to develop the means against hair loss, for hair strengthening, which improves blood circulation in the head skin, stimulates hair growth, has a regenerating and strengthening effect on hair roots and also restores the damaged hair structure. The set objective is achieved by a hair loss curing agent based on medicinal plants containing, wt.%: water extract of medicinal plants 85-97; gelatinizing agent - chitosan 0.5-1.5; preservative - salicylic acid 0.1-0.5; perfume component 0.2-1.0; water - the rest, where water extract of medicinal plants is received from oak bark, roots and rootstock of common licorice, sage leaves taken in the ratio of 4:2:4, whereas the ratio of medicinal plants to water is 1:5.

Description

The invention relates to the cosmetic industry, and in particular to means for hair care for women against baldness based on medicinal plant materials.

The problem of treating hair loss is very complex, since there are many causes that cause baldness. As a result of prolonged exposure to various adverse factors, both external and internal, the scalp suffers first of all - microcirculation and water-fat balance are disturbed in it, which leads to poor nutrition and growth of hair follicles, and ultimately to hair loss .

The most serious cause of hair loss is androgenetic alopecia, the hormonal cause of hair loss due to excess male sex hormone testosterone. In women, this can occur during menopause, pregnancy and in adolescence.

Various means are known for strengthening and stimulating hair growth, containing various plant extracts as biologically active components. The positive effect of water-alcohol-glycerin extracts from plant materials is based on their regenerating effect on hair roots and scalp, improvement of metabolic processes of skin cells and hair roots, tonic effect of biologically active substances contained in extracts: amino acids, vitamins, microelements.

It is known, for example, a hair care product containing ethyl alcohol, extracts of horseradish, hop pellets, red pepper, dioica nettle, garlic, onion, horse chestnut, pollen; camphor, lanolin, d-patol, lactic acid, lavender oil, dimethyl sulfoxide and water (ed. St. USSR No. 1237210, 1968).

A disadvantage of the known composition is its lack of activity to strengthen and stimulate hair growth, as well as the content of a large number of deficient components.

Closest to the claimed is an anti-hair loss agent based on oak bark. The mask based on oak bark is suitable for all types of hair. To prepare it, the bark of oak, leaves of mint, dandelion and plantain are mixed in gruel. It is also worth adding a few tablespoons of burdock oil and let it brew for several hours. Before applying to the hair, the mask is slightly warmed in a water bath. Apply a mask on the hair all night, put on a plastic hat and wrap a towel. Wash off with shampoo and rinse again with tincture based on oak bark. Repeat recommended once every seven to ten days (found on the site).

The essence of the proposed composition lies in the fact that although each of the ingredients (oak bark, licorice and sage) is known as a tool for strengthening hair roots, but in the aggregate they are not found in the literature as a concentrated extract with the addition of chitosan and salicylic acid. The positive effect of using the product is to increase the metabolism in the scalp, improve blood circulation, saturate the hair roots with nutrients, reduce dry skin, condition the hair cuticle and stimulate hair growth.

Violation of the ratio of medicinal plants - a decrease - leads to insufficient activity and stimulation of hair growth, also to strengthen the hair cuticle, and an increase is not advisable.

When using chitosan below the claimed limit, the overall composition is diluted, while when applied to the hair, it drains, and the increase is not advisable, because there is no uniformity of application when rubbing the composition into the cortex.

Therefore, sorption occurs due to ionic binding, and negative charges are removed from the surface of the hair. The product is prepared as follows: first, oak bark, roots and rhizome of licorice are crushed to a particle size of approximately 2 mm, and sage leaves are crushed to the same size. The crushed ingredients are mixed within the claimed limits and poured into a three-necked flask in an amount of 200 to 400 g, poured with purified water (distilled) at room temperature in an amount of 1 to 2 L and left in a dark room for one day for swelling. Then the flask is connected to a reflux condenser, a thermometer and a stirrer, and installed in a water bath. Extraction is carried out at a heating temperature not exceeding 70 ° C for 1.5 hours. After the extract is concentrated, water is distilled off to 0.5 L. The extract obtained is cooled to room temperature and introduced within the claimed limits sequentially: chitosan, salicylic acid and perfume. The resulting product is yellowish-brown in color, with a gel-like structure and with the smell of a perfume used (from rose, or geranium, or jasmine, etc.).

The product is used as follows: rub the product on clean, damp hair in a circular motion from the crown over the entire surface of the head, then put on a plastic cap and cover with a towel for 2-3 hours, then rinse with warm water (in no case hot). In this case, the use of shampoo is not necessary. This procedure is carried out every other day for 3-4 months. It should be noted that when using the product on fair hair with gray hair color will darken.

Example 1

Pre-crushed oak bark and roots and licorice rhizome bare to a particle size of approximately 2 mm, as well as crushed sage leaves to the same size, are mixed and 200 g of the resulting mixture are poured with one liter of freshly distilled room temperature water in a three-necked flask.
