Abstract

Настоящее изобретение относится к жидкокристаллическому дисплею и к способу его оптической компенсации. В частности, настоящее изобретение регулирует величины компенсации A-пластины с одноосным положительным двулучепреломлением и C-пластины с одноосным отрицательным двулучепреломлением, в особенности регулируется диапазон величин замедления Rв направлении толщины C-пластины с одноосным отрицательным двулучепреломлением. Путем регулировки величин компенсации двух вышеупомянутых типов компенсационных пленок подавляется явление рассеяния светового потока в темном состоянии. Настоящее изобретение способно эффективно подавлять явление рассеяния светового потока в темном состоянии при большом угле обзора и повышать контраст и четкость при большом угле обзора.
