Abstract

Un conjunto de instrumentos musicales de tambores metálicos acústicos, siendo una innovación, la cual significativamente mejora la técnica anterior de los tambores metálicos acústicos tradicionales. Dichas mejoras incluyen una extensión del rango de notas a través del ensamblaje de los G-Pans, una reducción substancial en el número de los tambores metálicos requeridos para efectivamente cubrir el rango musical de los tambores metálicos. El uso de un diseño compuesto por cuyo medio las partes integrales individuales del instrumento, específicamente la superficie de ejecución, campana, accesorios posteriores, o la falda y la baqueta o mazo para tocar, son optimizados para su función específica, la aplicación de una variedad de técnicas para eliminar o reducir, vibraciones armónicas no-musicales y la inclusión de una variedad de diseños de resonador mecánicos y acústicos, para mejorar de forma óptima la proyección de sonido del instrumento antes mencionado.
