Said method encompasses the processes of: supplying sugar cane pieces of a high sucrose content; extract the sugar cane from the pieces of sugar cane using a roller mill; filter and as an option, treat the neutral guarapo with one or more coagulants, to achieve a guarapo product with a purity of 99.1 to 99.9%; and pasteurize the purified guarapo. As an option, the guarapo is concentrated to reduce weight and volume.
