Abstract
An arrangement for packing trees with branches comprises a first part 1, which in use is held stationary in relation to a base and a second part 2, which can be displaced in a horizontal plane in relation to the fixed part. The first part and the second part essentially comprise vertical elements. Between the vertical elements of the first and second part respectively a pallet can be fitted, and it may be possible, at least in connection with the vertical elements adjoining the outer areas of the pallet, once displacement is completed, to fit bracing elements for the trees situated on the pallet. The largely vertical elements of the first part and the second part respectively are arranged so that, on displacement of the second part in relation to the first part, these displace trees inserted in the gap between the vertical elements into a position over and on the pallet. The arrangement affords the facility for taking a binding material right round the pallet, the bracing elements and the compressed trees in order to secure these parts in their mutual positions, and joining opposite ends of the binding material together. The arrangement is characterized in that vertical elements of the first part are pivotally supported in relation to the rest of the construction. <IMAGE>
