Rigid Containers With Two Or More Constituent Elements
(AREA)
Abstract
A vacuum container 10 is designed as a frame construction 11 of tube or iron angle and with sides in the form of metal grates 24 with an outer sheathing of reinforced or non- reinforced plastic foil. Tightness is established by means of gluing, welding or overlapping of the outer foil sheathing, but preferably, the outer foil has the form of a bag 25 enveloping a single or a plurality of adjacent product containers with walls of grating. The sheathing foil has an evacuating mouthpiece 14 having a closing valve 15 which is connected to a vacuum pump 24, and may also have an inlet mouthpiece 17 provided with a valve 16 for conditioning of the container atmosphere. The container is remarkable in its light construction and its low cost, compared to known constructions. <IMAGE>
