Abstract

Packing containers for e.g. milk are often of the type made of laminated material which can be sealed. In cases where the packing container has an integrated part forming a pouring spout, this can, for making it easier to pour out the milk, be divided into an emptying duct and an air duct by means of a sealing line. That end point of this sealing line facing the interior of the container is, in connection with shaping of the container, subjected to great stresses, and in order to reduce the risk of splitting and leakage, it is proposed according to the invention that the sealing line forming the air duct is to extend across the entire width of the packing container and have a short interruption for admission of air from the duct to the interior of the packing container. This distributes the stresses and reduces the risk of stress concentrations which can damage the sealing. <IMAGE>
