Claims (12)
1. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af et fermenteringsprodukt ud af et stivelsesholdigt materiale, hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter følgende trin: i) omdannelse af det stivelsesholdige materiale til fermenterbare sukkere, hvor det stivelsesholdige materiale er majs, efterfulgt af ii) fermentering af de fermenterbare sukkere med en mikroorganisme til fermenteret mæsk, iii) udsættelse af fermenteringsmediet under fermenteringsprocessen for en enzymsammensætning, der omfatter en xylanase og en pectinase, iv) fraseparering af fermenteringsproduktet i den fermenterede mæsk.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor fermenteringsproduktet vælges fra gruppen bestående af en syre, en alkohol og hydrogen.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 2, hvor alkoholen vælges fra gruppen bestående af ethanol, butanol, propanol, methanol, propandiol og butandiol.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 2, hvor syren vælges fra gruppen bestående af mælkesyre, propionsyre, eddikesyre, succinsyre, æblesyre, smørsyre og myresyre.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor mikroorganismen er en bakterie, gær eller svamp.
6. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af et fermenteringsprodukt, hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter (a) flydendegørelse af et stivelsesholdigt materiale med en alpha-amylase og præ-saccharificering af det flydendegjorte materiale før trin (b); (b) saccharificering af det flydendegjorte materiale efterfulgt af (c) fermentering ved anvendelse af en fermenteringsorganisme; hvor en enzymsammensætning, der omfatter en xylanase og en pectinase, tilsættes i fermenteringstrinnet (c).
7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 6, hvor fermenteringsproduktet vælges fra gruppen bestående af en syre, en alkohol og hydrogen.
8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 7, hvor alkoholen vælges fra gruppen bestående af ethanol, butanol, propanol, methanol, propandiol og butandiol.
9. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 7, hvor syren vælges fra gruppen bestående af mælkesyre, propionsyre, eddikesyre, succinsyre, æblesyre, smørsyre og myresyre.
10. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 6-9, hvor det stivelsesholdige materiale opnås fra kom og/eller rodknolde.
11. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 6-10, hvor det stivelsesholdige materiale vælges fra gruppen bestående af majs, hvede, byg, mg, hirse, durra og milo.
12. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 6-11, hvor mikroorganismen er en bakterie, gær eller svamp.
