Abstract

A water reservoir consisting of vertical pipes 11 arranged between upper and lower panels 1 which are interconnected so as to form a top part and a bottom part. One or more pipes can also constitute an overflow pipe, cleaning connections and a connection to the atmosphere. Corresponding openings can be provided in the top panel 1. A combined outlet/inlet 13 communicates with the water reservoir in its bottom part. Due to the vertical arrangement of the pipes, the water reservoir can withstand a considerable vertical load. Around the sides of the water reservoir, fabric, plastic sheeting or nets or a combination of these is arranged in such a manner that soil and filling around the reservoir are prevented from penetrating the latter. <IMAGE>
