Claims (10)

1. Fremgangsmåde til at udøve en bevægelseskompensationsproces under kodning eller afkodning af en videoblok indenfor en kodet ramme af en videosekvens, hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter: opnåelse af blokke af pixels fra én eller flere videoreferencerammer i bevægelseskompensationsprocessen, hvor blokkene af pixels omfatter rekonstruerede referenceblokke der tidligere var afkodet og omfatter heltalpixelværdier svarende til heltalpixelpositioner inde i blokkene af pixels; at påføre filtrering til en heltalpixelværdi af heltalpixelværdierne baseret på andre heltalpixelværdier inde i blokkene af pixels og en original heltalpixelværdi af heltalpixelværdien for at generere en justeret heltalpixelværdi, hvor den justerede heltalpixelværdi svarer til en heltalpixelposition omgivet af andre heltalpixelpositioner til hvilke de andre heltalpixelværdier svarer, og generering afen prognoseblok i bevægelseskompensationsprocessen under kodningen eller afkodningen af videoblokken baseret mindst delvist på den justerede heltalpixelværdi; hvilken fremgangsmåde er kendetegnet ved at et 5-til-5-interpolationsfilter i form af
anvendes til filtrering af heltalpixel, hvor pFP er den justerede heltalpixelværdi, Pi,j er heltalpixelværdien ved position (i, j), hFPi,j er koefficienten for position (i, j), og oFP er et filteroffset.
2. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1, hvor fremgangsmåden udføres under en indkodningsproces, hvilken fremgangsmåde yderligere omfatter generering afen restvideoblok som en forskel mellem en strømvideoblok der kodes og prognoseblokken.
