Claims (9)

1. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af ammoniak, der omfatter følgende trin (a) tilvejebringelse af et carbonhydridmateriale; (b) udsættelse af carbonhydridmaterialet for katalytisk partiel oxidation (CPO) for således at fremstille en syntesegas, der omfatter carbonmonoxid, hydrogen og carbondioxid; (c) udsættelse af syntesegassen for en vandgasproces for således at omsætte carbonmonoxid med vand under dannelsen af en gasblanding, der omfatter hydrogen og carbondioxid. (d) separation af hydrogen fra reaktionsblandingen; (e) omsætning af hydrogenet med nitrogen under ammoniak-dannende forhold for således at producere ammoniak, hvor den katalytiske partielle oxidation er en katalytisk partiel oxidation med kort kontakttid, udført under en rumhastighed på 100.000 til 250.000 hr'1, hvor oxygenet anvendt i den katalytiske partielle oxidation og nitrogenet anvendt i den ammoniakdannende reaktion opnås fra en luftseparationsenhed, hvor hydrogenet separeres fra reaktionsblandingen under fjernelse af CO2 fra gasblandingen omfattende hydrogen og carbondioxid, for således at opnå en gasblanding beriget med H2, hvor hydrogen oprenses ved anvendelse af en trykvekselabsorber efter fjernelse af CO2, for at opnå en ren hydrogenstrøm og en rensegasstrøm, hvilken rensegas tilbageføres til CPO-reaktoren med en komplet tilbageføring af rensegassen, hvor forholdet mellem oxygen og carbon i den katalytiske partielle oxidation er mellem 0,3 og 0,7, og hvor forholdet mellem damp og carbon i den katalytiske partielle oxidation ligger inden for intervallet på 0,3 - 1,0.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor rumhastigheden er 100.000 til 200.000 hr'1.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor den katalytiske partielle oxidation udføres under påvirkning af en oxygenholdig gasstrøm, der omfatter mindst 40 % oxygen, fortrinsvis mindst 60 % oxygen.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor den oxygenholdige gasstrøm er oxygen med en renhed på fra 90 % - 100 %.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, der omfatter en yderligere oprensning af H2 ved methanisering af CO og CO2.
6. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af urea, der omfatter en fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af ammoniak ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 5, og omsætning af ammoniakken med det fjernede CO2, under urea-dannende tilstande.
7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor carbonhydridmaterialet er valgt fra gruppen bestående af naturgas, flaskegas (LPG), raffinaderigas, naphtha og blandinger deraf.
8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor forholdet mellem oxygen og carbon (O/C) i den katalytiske partielle oxidation er mellem 0,5 og 0,7, og hvor forholdet mellem damp og carbon (S/C) i den katalytiske partielle oxidation ligger inden for intervallet på 0,4 - 0,6.
9. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor rågassen opnået fra den katalytiske partielle oxidation har en temperatur mellem ca. 900 °C og 1200 °C.
