Claims (10)

1. Formulering af et astaxanthin-derivat omfattende en kontinuerlig oliefase af i det mindste en olie, der er egnet til fødevarer, og en i oliefasen emulgeret vandig fase, hvori astaxanthin-derivatet foreligger i form af dispergerede, ved hjælp af i det mindste et beskyttelseskolloid stabiliserede partikler, idet astaxanthin-derivatet består af i det mindste 70 vægt-% af i det mindste en forbindelse med den almene formel I
hvor R står for en gruppe med formel
hvor # betegner forbindelsen til carbonylgruppen, A står for -CH2CH2- eller for -CH=CH-, og Rx står for C1-C4 alkyl.
2. Formulering ifølge krav 1, idet gruppen Rx i formel I betegner methyl eller ethyl, og A står for -CH2CH2-.
3. Formulering ifølge krav eller 2, hvori de ved hjælp af beskyttelseskolloidet stabiliserede partikler har en gennemsnitlig partikeldiameter (vægtgennemsnit) i området fra 10 nm til 2.000 nm.
4. Formulering ifølge et af de foregående krav, hvori beskyttelseskolloidet er udvalgt blandt proteinske beskyttelseskolloider, ligninsulfonsyrer, saltene heraf, oligo- og polysaccharider, polyvinylalkohol, polyvinylpyrrolidon og blandinger heraf.
5. Formulering ifølge et af de foregående krav indeholdende astaxanthin-derivatet i en mængde på 0,1 til 10 vægt-%, baseret på den samlede vægt af sammensætningen.
6. Formulering ifølge et af de foregående krav indeholdende en blødgører i en mængde på 1 til 20 vægt-%, baseret på den samlede vægt af sammensætningen.
7. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af en formulering ifølge et af de foregående krav omfattende: a) tilvejebringelse af en vandig dispersion af astaxanthin- derivatet, som består af i det mindste 7 0 vægt-% af i det mindste en forbindelse med den almene formel I, idet den vandige dispersion indeholder i det mindste et beskyttelseskolloid; og b) emulgering af den vandige dispersion af astaxanthin-derivatet i i det mindste en olie, der er egnet til fødevarer.
8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 7, idet tilvejebringelsen af den vandige dispersion af astaxanthin-derivatet omfatter de følgende trin: al) opløsning af astaxanthin-derivatet i et organisk opløsningsmiddel, som består af carbon, hydrogen og oxygen, a2) sammenblanding af den i trin al) opnåede opløsning med en vandig sammensætning, som indeholder i det mindste et beskyttelseskolloid i opløst form.
9. Anvendelse af en formulering ifølge et af kravene 1 til 6 til fremstilling af foderpræparater, navnlig faste foderpræparater, især foderpræparater i form af pellets, eller til fremstilling af opløsninger af astaxanthin-derivatet i en til fødevarer egnet olie.
10. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af foderpræparater, navnlig af faste foderpræparater, især af pellets, omfattende: a) tilvejebringelse af en sammensætning ifølge et af kravene 1 til 6 ; β) indarbejdning af sammensætningen i en til fødevarer egnet, flydende olie under opnåelse af en fortyndet flydende sammensætning, som indeholder astaxanthin-derivatet, i form af en flydende opløsning af astaxanthinen i den flydende olie; og γ) sammenblanding af den i trin β) opnåede flydende sammensætning med bestanddelene i foderpræparatet eller imprægnering af et fast foderpræparat med den i trin β) opnåede flydende sammensætning.
