Claims (8)

1. Fremgangsmåde til in ovo-bestemmelse af kønnet af fugleæg, kendetegnet ved, at der med en strålingskilde udsendes en elektromagnetisk stråling på kimskiven (1) af et ikke-ruget æg, og afklingeadfærden for egenfluorescensintensi-teten, der exciteres via den elektromagnetiske stråling, efter en afbrydelse af strålingskilden (5) registreres tids- og spektralopløst på det bestrålede område af kimskiven for mindst en bølgelængde af egenfluorescensen med en detektor (4), og den fraktale dimension DF beregnes med de fastlagte intensitetsmåleværdier, og værdien af den fraktale dimension DF sammenlignes med en art- og kønsspecifik grænseværdi; hvor det pågældende æg ved overskridelse af grænseværdien klassificeres som hunæg og ved underskridelse som hanæg.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at den fraktale dimension Df1 bestemmes ved fastlæggelse af de mindste fej I kvad rater.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at den fraktale dimension Df2 bestemmes ved fastlæggelse af differens-autokorrelations-funktionen C(t) for egenfluorescensintensitetsafklingeadfærden.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at kimskiven (1) bestråles med en monokromatisk elektromagnetisk stråling, og der med henblik på bestemmelsen af egenfluorescensen anvendes et fluorescensspektrometer (4), hvor bestrålingen foregår på en sådan måde, at strålen til excitering af egenfluorescensen rammer kimskiven således, at der ikke reflekteres en stråling på den samme akse.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at detekteringen gennemføres med en kendt konstant aftastningshyppighed.
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 5, kendetegnet ved, at detekteringen gennemføres med en konstant aftastningshyppighed i området 50 ps til 1000 ps.
7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at der med henblik på exciteringen af fluorescensen anvendes en elektromagnetisk stråling fra UV-strålingens bølgelængdeområde.
8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at den elektromagnetiske stråling, der anvendes til exciteringen af egenfluorescensen, ved hjælp af en første optisk fiber (2) rettes mod kimskiven (1), og den elektromagnetiske stråling, der forekommer som følge af egenfluorescens, via en anden optisk fiber (3) rettes mod detektoren (4), og de to optiske fibre (2 og 3) derved er orienteret i forhold til hinanden i en vinkel, der hælder skråt.
