Description
Device for opening a door
The invention relates to a device for opening a door according to claim 1 and a method for operating a door.
In the devices known from the prior art, the generic radio receiver is permanently connected to the energy store in order to open the door immediately as necessary. The disadvantage here, however, is that the energy store is discharged quickly as a result of the permanent connection to the radio receiver. Therefore, the energy store must either be designed to be recharged or be relatively frequently changed. DE 199 37 034 A1 discloses an electrically-switchable locking device wherein a door opener comprises a lock latch interacting with a door opener latch. The door opener latch is unlocked and locked by means of a piezoelectric element, wherein the control of the piezoelectric element is effected by an electrical activation device integrated in the door opener. Although this device has proved very successful in practice, it does not provide a possible solution for the above problem.
Another solution for opening a door lock is described in EP 0 584 499 A1.
The invention has the object of improving a generic device by increasing the service life of the energy store.
The object is solved by the features of claim 1.
The dependent claims form advantageous embodiment possibilities according to the invention.
In the device according to the invention, the energy storage unit and the radio receiver are electrically interconnected to open the door. Since the energy storage device is electrically connected with the radio receiver only when needed, the energy consumption of the energy store is minimized, which is why it may be used over a longer period of time, before it must be replaced or recharged.
According to the invention, the control unit with the transmitter controls a door lock by means of radio signals, wherein the energy storage device and the radio receiver are electrically connected with each other to unlock the door. Thus, the energy store is also only required as needed for the unlocking operation, wherein its service life is also extended. A latch and/or a lock of the door is/are pressed against a pressure switch. The pressure switch thus makes the electrical connection between the energy store and the radio receiver to open and to unlock the door.
The pressure switch may have a very short switching stroke, so that it responds even to very small movements of the door and thus ensures rapid opening of the door. A holding relay is arranged parallel to the pressure switch to ensure the electric connection between the energy store and the radio receiver during the opening process of the door. Another relay may be connected in series to the pressure switch. Thus, the door may be opened even when it is subjected to a permanent load, for example, a wind load.
For this reason, the pressure switch and the further relay may be designed as a toggle switch.
Conveniently, the connection between the energy store and the radio receiver may be separated after a certain time. In this way, it is ensured that the energy storage device does not consume energy any longer than needed outside the opening process.
When the door opener and/or the door lock also includes a transmitter, then it can report the operation of the door opener and the door lock to the control unit, so that the door control unit does not have to re-initiate the opening operation after a certain time, as might be the case, for example, if the bolt jammed or someone blocked the door.
Appropriately, the latch relay and/or the further relay may be a mechanical relay or a semiconductor relay.
In order to automate the opening process, the door may have an automatic drive.
The invention also relates to a door, in particular a revolving door or a sliding door, which, according to the invention, comprises a device according to one of the claims 1 to 11. Exemplary embodiments of the drawing are illustrated by the figures:
Fig. 1 shows a door according to the invention;
Fig. 2 shows a first embodiment of a circuit for opening and unlocking the door.
Fig. 3a, b show a second embodiment of the circuit for opening and unlocking the door.
Fig. 1 shows a door 10 with a drive 11 comprising a control unit which, in turn, comprises a transmitter. The door 10 may be opened by someone 12 by remote control by means of a handheld transmitter 13.
Fig. 2 shows a control unit 20 which may transmit wireless signals 21 to a radio receiver, once it is electrically connected to an energy store 22. A pressure switch 23 and a holding relay 24 are arranged between the energy storage device 22 and the radio receiver 21.
As soon as a force is exerted on the pressure switch 23 in the direction of the arrow 25, it is dosed to provide the electrical connection between the energy storage device 22 and the radio receiver 21. It may also be connected to further electrical elements, such as an electric door opener or a motor-operated lock.
To open the door 10, someone 12 operates the handheld transmitter 13. Then, the drive 11 tries to open the door 10, and presses it against the pressure switch 23, wherein the latter is closed and produces the electrical connection between the energy storage device 22 and the radio receiver 21. As a result of a position signal, the control unit 20 detects that the door 10 can not open. The control unit 20 then transmits an opening signal via radio to the radio receiver 21, which passes this onto a door opener, and possibly also to a motor-operated door lock in order to release this. As soon as the radio receiver 21 is turned on, this turns off the holding relay 24, so that it maintains the power supply between the energy storage device 22 and the radio receiver 21, as well as possibly other connected electrical elements, during the opening process.
If the door is not pressed by the drive 11, but, for example, by someone 12 against the pressure switch 23, then the radio receiver 21 is also turned on, which, in turn, turns off the holding relay 24. However, in this case, the radio receiver 21 receives no opening signal from the control unit 20, so that the door 10 remains closed. In any event, the holding relay 24 remains turned on for a certain time, regardless of whether the radio receiver receives the opening signal from the control unit or not, and then again interrupts the connection between the energy storage device 22 and the radio receiver 21.
Furthermore, Fig. 3a and 3b show the control unit 20, the radio receiver 21 and the energy storage device 22, wherein the radio receiver 21 and the energy storage device 22 may be connected to each other through the holding relay 24 or by a pressure switch 30 and a relay 31. The pressure switch 30 and the relay 31 are designed as changeover switches. Fig. 3a shows the rest position, wherein the pressure switch 30 is not acted upon.
When a continuous load is exerted on the pressure switch 30 in the direction of the arrow 32, this is pressed down and thus turns on the radio receiver 21. Since the radio receiver 21, however, receives no opening signal from the control unit 20, the radio receiver 21 switches off the relay 31, wherein the radio receiver 21 and other possibly connected electrical elements are turned off, as shown in Fig. 3b.
As soon as a person 12 operates the control unit with the handheld transmitter 13 to open the door 10, the door 10 is pushed into its closed position, wherein the pressure switch 30 is unloaded. The contact of the pressure switch 30 - at the top in the figure - is switched on and connects the radio receiver 21 to the energy store. This may thus receive the opening signal from the control unit 20 and pass it to the door opener and the door lock to release it. As soon as the radio receiver 21 is turned on, it turns off the holding relay 24 so that it maintains the power supply between the energy storage device 22 and the radio receiver 21 and the other electrical elements during the opening process.
