Claims (16)
1. An electronic control system (10) for a mobile machine, the control system being adapted to allocate a necessary flow rate of a hydraulic fluid to a steering actuator (1) based on a steering command, characterized in that the control system is further adapted to allocate an auxiliary flow rate of the hydraulic fluid to at least one auxiliary actuator (2, 3), the allocation of the auxiliary flow rate being based on an auxiliary control command, a limit flow rate, and the necessary flow rate to the steering actuator (1).
2. A system according to claim 1, wherein the allocation of the auxiliary flow rate is based on a calculation including data representing the auxiliary control command, the limit flow rate, and the necessary flow rate to the steering actuator.
3. A system according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the limit flow rate is determined based on an available flow rate from a hydraulic pump (6).
4. A system according to claim 3, further adapted to determine the available flow rate by communication with the pump (6) or with at least one sensor.
5. A system according to any of the preceding claims, adapted to determine from the auxiliary control command, a demanded flow rate to the at least one auxiliary actuator, and wherein the auxiliary flow rate is defined as a percentage of the demanded flow rate if the sum of the demanded flow rate and the necessary flow rate exceeds the limit.
6. A system according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the limit is defined as a variable percentage of the available flow rate, the variable percentage depending on operational conditions of the mobile machine.
7. A system according to claim 6, wherein the operational conditions relate to a driving speed of the mobile machine.
8. A system according to any of the preceding claims, adapted, based on a specification, to share the auxiliary flow rate between a plurality of auxiliary actuators (2, 3).
9. A system according to any of the preceding claims, further comprising a steering system (4) adapted to provide the steering command in the form of a mechanical input from a hydraulic control handle (5).
10. A system according to any of the preceding claims, adapted to switch between different pumps.
11. A system according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the auxiliary control command is an electronic signal indicating a desired operation.
12. A system according to any of the preceding claims, adapted to determine if the pump is overloaded, and in that case to reduce the necessary flow rate.
13. A system according to any of the preceding claims, further comprising a pump capable of providing a variable fluid rate, the system being adapted to control the pump based on the auxiliary control command and the necessary flow rate to the steering actuator.
14. A system according to any of the preceding claims, comprising electronically controlled proportional valves for controlling a share of the auxiliary flow rate to each auxiliary actuator.
15. A system according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the necessary flow rate and auxiliary flow rates are determined frequently.
16. A mobile machine comprising a control system according to any of the preceding claims.
