Claims (12)
1. Optisk singlemode transmissionsfiber, der omfatter en kerne- og kappestruktur, hvor hvert især af kernepartiet og kappepartiet indeholder flour som doteringsmiddel til at reducere brydningsindekset, kendetegnet ved, at - den nedsænkede kerne har mindst 0,41 vægt-% flour og en absolut brydningsindeksforskel (ΙΔ-il) med ren siliciumdioxid større end 1,5.10'3; og - en nedsænket kappe har mindst 1,2 vægt-% flour, en absolut brydningsindeksforskel (ΙΔ2Ι) med ren siliciumdioxid større end 4,5.10-3 og en absolut brydningsindeksforskel (ΙΔη2Ι-ΙΔη-|Ι) med den forsænkede kerne større end 3.10-3, hvor kernen højst har 1,4 vægt-% flour.
2. Fiber ifølge krav 1, der ved en bølgelængde på 1310 nm udviser en variation i dæmpning på mindre end 100% for stråling i et område fra 200 til 30 000 Gray ved et forhold på mere end 1 Gray/s.
3. Fiber ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregåede krav, hvor kernen ikke omfatter germanium.
