Description
l DK 181401 B1
The invention disclosed herein generally relates to the field of construction.
More particularly, the present invention relates to various formwork profile elements used in the casting of concrete structures for holding the casting in place and to fix the gaps in concrete assembly to form a uniform structure.
Formwork in construction is used as support structures and molds to create structures out of concrete or similar materials when poured into the mold. The formworks are temporary or permanent molds that hold the poured concrete in shape until its hardness. These formworks are constructed accurately to the desired lines and levels of the plane surface to create a uniform finishing including the edges. Further, the joints in the formwork are constructed such that it is tight against the leak of cement.
Presently, the plates and boards are used for the construction of uniform formworks. They are fixed in the desired locations such as edges, windows, joints, and other places for casting cement. They perform leveling and finishing of the wall surface. Though these plates and boards support leveling of the concrete poured, still they are not accurate. The ordinary board used for leveling is never straight.
Moreover, this board requires one or more workers or people in place to hold during the entire process of casting thereby causing a delay in the formwork construction.
Also, the materials used are not recyclable and so it is expensive.
Similarly, during the installation of hollow decks or the concrete element assembly, there are always many gaps in the walls and the hollow decks. Due to its shape, the hallow deck fits together in the different space dimensions of apartments, rooms, as they are always made to standard dimensions of 1.2 m or 2.4 m. It is difficult to cement using these elements as the concrete runs down the wall or deck
, DK 181401 B1 and lacks proper finishing. Further, they are not weatherproof and get smeared away easily.
A prior art, DE 7245189 U of BRUDERL, W., discloses a formwork profile — with plurality of sections adapted for connection to the edge of a wall and configured to hold concrete in place while casting. However, above-mentioned prior art fails to provide another alternative formwork profile with one or more slots on both ends, in the art of manufacturing anti-leakage devices for concrete formwork aiming to solve the above-mentioned problems.
In light of all the above-mentioned drawbacks, there is a need for formwork profile elements that supports the sub-formwork installations quickly and safely. Also, there is a need for profile elements that hold the casting in place. Further, there is a need for profile elements that prevent the gap between the walls and in the hallow decks during cementing. And also, there is a need for profile elements that are easily fixed by a single person or a worker. Further, there is a need for profile elements that are lightweight and reusable.

In one embodiment, the profile further includes a bracket to stick all the profiles together. In one embodiment, the bracket is available in all sizes depending on the height of the formwork. In one embodiment, the bracket further includes a small extension at each corner for fixing with the profile elements. In one
DK 181401 B1 4 embodiment, the profile further includes a plastic element or connector to assemble or extend the formwork as needed.
Advantageously, the formwork profile elements support the construction — industry for easier and faster set up of the concrete. They further support installations of sub-formwork quickly and safely. Also, the formwork profile elements are lighter and are weatherproof. They prevent the running of cement from the walls and form a uniform structure. Moreover, these profiles are made of recycled plastics which are lightweight and durable. And also, the profile element further supports the one- handed operation of a worker or user.
