Abstract
Fremgangsmåde og apparat til minedrift i og behandling af havbundsaflejringer omfattende at forstyrre aflejringer ved havbunden (3) til dannelse af en slam; at transportere slammen til overfladen via et produktionsstigrør (6) og at behandle slammen med henblik på at fraskille hydrater og fjerne hydrater fra slammen på gasform ved overfladen. Slammen kan ligeledes indeholde sapropel og mineraler. Når dette er tilfældet, kan slammen opdeles i en mineralrig strøm og en sapropelrig strøm, der hver især kan underkastes videre behandling.
Claims (18)
1. Fremgangsmåde til at udnytte og bearbejde havbundssediment, omfattende følgende trin: 1) at forstyrre sediment ved havbunden (3) til dannelse af en opslæmning under anvendelse af et fjernbetjent bælteminedriftsredskab (2); 2) at transportere opslæmningen til overfladen via et produk-tionsstigrør (6); 3) at bearbejde opslæmningen til fraskillelse af hydrater og fjernelse af hydrater fra opslæmningen på gasform ved overfladen, 4) at transportere opslæmningen eller komponenter af den af-gassede opslæmning til en onshore-lokalitet.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvorved trin 2 omfatter at føre komprimeret gas til havbunden (3) for at hjælpe til med at transportere opslæmningen til overfladen.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, yderligere omfattende trinnet at passere opslæmningen gennem et filter (8) til fjernelse af større partikler enten før eller under trin 3.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvorved gasser afledt fra hydraterne efterfølgende gøres flydende.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 3, hvorved gasserne afledt fra hydraterne efterfølgende komprimeres.
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 5 og krav 2, hvorved nogle af de komprimerede gasser afledt fra hydraterne fremføres til havbunden (3) for at hjælpe til med at transportere opslæmningen til overfladen.
7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, yderligere omfattende at omrøre opslæmningen under transporten til onshore-lokaliteten.
8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 7, yderligere omfattende trinnet at delvist afvande opslæmningen.
9. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, yderligere omfattende: at adskille opslæmningen i en mineralrig strøm (27) og en sapropelrig strøm (26).
10. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 8 og 9, hvorved trinnene at afvande og adskille opslæmningen i en mineralrig strøm (27) og en sapropelrig strøm (26) udføres samtidigt i en trevejs-centrifuge (24).
11. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 9, yderligere omfattende at adskille den mineralrige strøm i et antal strømme, der hver især er rig på et specifikt mineral.
12. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 9 eller 11, yderligere omfattende at bearbejde den sapropelrige strøm (26) til frembringelse af anvendeligt brændstof og/eller energi.
13. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 11, hvorved trinnet adskille den mineralrige strøm (27) omfatter at adskille den mineralrige strøm i adskilte mineralsulfider, mineraloxider eller metaller.
14. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 12, hvorved trinnet at bearbejde den sapropelrige strøm (26) omfatter trinnet at forgasse den sapropelrige strøm (26) til fremstilling af det anvendelige brændstof og/eller energi.
15. Apparat til at udnytte og bearbejde havbundssediment omfattende et bælte-minedriftsredskab (2) til at bevæge sig hen over havbunden (3) og danne en opslæmning; et produktionsstigrør (6) til transport af opslæmningen fra bælteredskabet (2) til overfladen; en første separator til at fraskille hydrater og fjerne hydrater fra opslæmningen på gasform ved overfladen; og mid ler til at transportere opslæmningen eller komponenter af den afgassede opslæmning til en onshore-lokalitet.
16. Apparat ifølge krav 15, yderligere omfattende en anden separator til at adskille opslæmningen i en mineralrig strøm og en sapropelrig strøm.
17. Apparat ifølge krav 16, yderligere omfattende en tredje separator til at adskille den mineralrige strøm i et antal strømme, der hver især er rig på et specifikt mineral.
18. Apparat ifølge krav 17, yderligere omfattende et sapropelbearbejdnings-anlæg til at bearbejde den sapropelrige strøm (26) til frembringelse af anvendeligt brændstof og/eller energi.
