Abstract

The invention relates to a butt-ended bag (1) made from a heat-sealable or weldable plastic film. Said bag is used to receive liquid or pasty items and is provided with two side walls (2, 3) and a pouring element (20) which can be placed in a tilted pouring position from an upright position. In order to prevent undesired liquid from escaping from the butt-end bag when the pouring element is in a base position, a top film (25) is provided, said top film jutting into the inside of the bag which is secured to the pouring element between the lateral walls (2, 3) in such a manner that it is arranged on a lateral wall in the base position of the pouring element (20). Also, an inlet closes the pouring element and is arranged at a distance from the lateral wall (2) when the pouring element is in a tilted position and the inlet to the pouring element is opened.
