Claims (20)
1. Mekanisk emne der har en struktur, som omfatter et substrat (1) og et keramisk belægningslag (5; 11) af nanometer tykkelse, til at forbedre mekanisk modstandsdygtighed, kendetegnet ved, at det mellem substratet og det keramiske belægningslag omfatter et i det væsentlige ikke-porøst metallisk adhæsionslag (2; 4; 6; 8; 10; 12) af nanometer størrelse, der tilvejebringer plastisk deformerbarhed til det keramiske lag; hvilket keramiske belægningslag (5; 11) er et øvre i det væsentlige ikke-porøs belægningsbarrierelag af nanometer størrelse af i det væsentlige støkiometrisk titannitrid; og at det yderligere over belægningsbarrierelaget (5; 11) af titannitrid omfatter et yderligere i det væsentlige ikke-porøst overfladelag (7; 13) af nanometer størrelse, der i det væsentlige består af titanoxid-nitrid.
2. Mekanisk emne ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at når substratet ikke omfatter eller ikke udgøres af titanium eller en af dets legeringer, omfatter det yderligere et i det væsentlige ikke-porøst adhæsions- og/eller barrierelag (2) af nanometer størrelse, der omfatter et metal, som fortrinsvis er valgt blandt chrom eller ethvert metal, som er valgt fra gruppe IV A i det periodiske system.
3. Mekanisk emne ifølge krav 1 eller 2, kendetegnet ved, at det nævnte metalliske adhæsionslag (2) omfatter et metal, som er valgt blandt chrommetal, en chromlegering, titanmetal eller en titaniumlegering eller en blanding deraf.
4. Mekanisk emne ifølge krav 3, hvori det efter chrom- eller titanmetallet eller dets legeringer omfatter et i det væsentlige ikke-porøst transient diffusionslag af nanometer størrelse af et metal eller en metalforbindelse af gruppe IV A og/eller V A i det periodiske system, som især er valgt fra gruppen, der består af titan, zirconium, hafnium, vanadium, niobium, tantal.
5. Mekanisk emne ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor substratet er belagt med et i det væsentlige ikke-porøst adhæsionslag (2) af nanometer størrelse af i det væsentlige rent titan efterfulgt af et yderligere keramisk belægningsbarrierelag (5; 11), der består af et i det væsentlige ikke-porøst belægningsbarrierelag af nanometer størrelse af i det væsentlige støkiometrisk titannitrid.
6. Mekanisk emne ifølge krav 5, hvor det over belægningsbarrierelaget (5; 11) af titannitrid yderligere omfatter et yderligere i det væsentlige ikke porøst keramisk belægningsbarrierelag (7; 13) af nanometer størrelse, der i det væsentlige består af titanoxidnitrid.

10. Mekanisk emne ifølge krav 6 eller 9, kendetegnet ved, at hvert belægningslag af titanoxynitrid har en kemisk formel TiNxOy, hvor x ligger mellem ca. 0,7 og ca. 1; og y er 1-x.
