Claims (20)

1. Mekanisk emne der har en struktur, som omfatter et substrat (1) og et keramisk belægningslag (5; 11) af nanometer tykkelse, til at forbedre mekanisk modstandsdygtighed, kendetegnet ved, at det mellem substratet og det keramiske belægningslag omfatter et i det væsentlige ikke-porøst metallisk adhæsionslag (2; 4; 6; 8; 10; 12) af nanometer størrelse, der tilvejebringer plastisk deformerbarhed til det keramiske lag; hvilket keramiske belægningslag (5; 11) er et øvre i det væsentlige ikke-porøs belægningsbarrierelag af nanometer størrelse af i det væsentlige støkiometrisk titannitrid; og at det yderligere over belægningsbarrierelaget (5; 11) af titannitrid omfatter et yderligere i det væsentlige ikke-porøst overfladelag (7; 13) af nanometer størrelse, der i det væsentlige består af titanoxid-nitrid.
2.
