Abstract

1. Cockspur fastener (3) for windows and doors, in particular for those with tilt and turn sash, consisting of two arms (4, 5) connected to each other by a toggle joint (6) to allow swivelling movement, one of the arms being suspended in a bearing bracket (8) on the frame (1) by means of a pivot joint (7) arranged in parallel to the toggle joint (6), the other arm engaging over a pivot joint (9) also arranged in parallel to the toggle joint (6) in a bearing bracket (10) on the sash, the pivot joint (9) can be uncoupled by means of a handling device (26), for this purpose the toggle joint (6) is equipped with a friction brake and an adjusting device, characterized in that the handling device (26) is fastened to a bar (31) guided in an adjustable manner (28, 29) on the sash-mounted bearing bracket (10) transversely to the axis of the pivot joint (9) formed at that bearing bracket, and that it has a coupling claw (32, 33), which corresponds with a hinge bolt (34) on the arm (5) adjacent to the sash-mounted bearing bracket (10) in a way, that in engaged position (fig. 1) it serves as bearing shell for the hinge bolt (34) on the arm (5), both forming the pivot joint (9) at the sash-mounted bearing bracket (10), whereas in disengaged position (fig. 2) this pivot joint (9) is separated.
