Abstract

The invention calls for the signal-cancellation loops (AD, AE, AF) which begin at the target signals (D, E, F) of railway installation, and which transmit linearly the current aspect of the particular signal, to be extended through the junction point(s), (W2, W3) of the installation or for a separate loop (AG), or a common loop incorporated in one of the individual loops, to be located there, by, means of which trains can advance to several of the target signals. Fed into this common loop are the information messages together with identifiers for the target signals which can be reached along the associated section of track. So that the trains can select, from the messages from all the target signals, only the messages which are actually intended for them, the trains receive beforehand, via point transmitters (ZUB2), information on the signal cible to which they are to advance. By comparison of the initially transmitted identifier with the identifier subsequently received through a signal-cancellation loop, the train can determine whether the message concerned is intended for it or not. The messages, which are valid for several target signals, are transmitted one after the other using a time-slot technique.
