Abstract
The process for disposing of soils contaminated by mineral oil consists in the latter being reclaimed by heating them to 120 to 200@C in a mixture with non-polluted mineral substances and mixing them with a hot bitumen-based binder, processing them to give asphalt, local overheatings above 500@C being avoided during the heating, and those proportions of the oil contamination evaporating during heating being fed to an incineration plant.
