Abstract

The invention proposes a sealing element (1,2) for cable conduits (3), which sealing element can be inserted into said conduits (3) at the end and makes it possible to seal such cable conduits such that they are proof against drifting sand, the housing (1) of the sealing element being tapered conically in the insertion direction, having an outer collar (1a) and being fitted with a plate (2) which consists of foam (which has open pores and is permanently elastic) and whose external diameter before insertion into the housing is considerably greater than its internal diameter and which has pre-cut separable stamped-out regions (2a, 2b, 2c) for accommodating at least one cable.
