Abstract

2.1 Combined radio apparatuses are known, in particular involving combinations of a telepoint-capable mobile component or mobile component of a cordless telephone with a paging receiver built into the mobile component. A circuit disposed in the mobile component comprising a microprocessor, operating and display elements can also take over the function of a paging receiver. 2.2 In the new combined radio apparatus, at least the configuration of the modules of a single receiving device disposed in the mobile component can be modified by the user or automatically by the microprocessor. Access is thus provided to different telecommunications services. 2.3 The new combined radio apparatus can be used in differently designed data transmission systems for switched connections. <IMAGE>
