Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und die Einrichtung hierfür, zum Zwecke des fadenlosen Buchbindens, wobei die Kanten der einzelnen losen Blätter des Buchblocks im Rückenbereich durch Umbiegen des Blockes nebeneinandergereiht und beidseitig mit Klebstoff versehen werden. Das Wesen der Erfindung besteht darin, dass der Block zunächst zwischen Klemmbacken eingebracht und hierbei mit dem Schnitt auf eine, der gewünschten Buchrückenform angepasste, gerundete untere Begrenzungsfläche aufgestossen wird, worauf die Klemmittel manuell oder motorisch durch Hebelwirkung ein Zusammenpressen der Buchblätter bewirken, dass alsdann mittels schwenkbarer Bügel ein beidseitiges Umbiegen des Blockes zum Zwecke der Blattkantenaneinanderreihung und Bestreichung der Blattvorstösse mit Klebstoff vorgenommen und dass schliesslich mittels weiterer Klemmittel der Block im Rückenbereich bis zur Leimkante gepresst wird, woraufhin erwünschtenfalls die Stützgase und Kapitale aufgebracht und die Klemmittel zur Herausnahme der fertigen Buchse abgerückt werden.The invention relates to a method and the device for this, for the purpose of threadless bookbinding, the edges of the individual loose sheets of the book block being lined up next to one another in the spine area by bending the block and being provided with adhesive on both sides. Gemäss Figur 1 sind in einem Grundrahmen 1 zwei Klemmbacken 2 und 3 gelagert, wobei die Backe 3 gegenüber der Backe 2 verschwenkt werden kann. Die Erfindung ermöglicht somit das fertige fadenlose Binden eines Buches in einer einzigen Maschine, ohne das hierbei irgendwelche Umspannmassnahmen zu ergreifen sind, wodurch einerseits mehr Handgriffe erforderlich wären und andererseits die Gefahr des Verrückens von Blättern oder von ganzen Blockteilen gegeneinander einträte.
