Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Abzweigdose für unter Putz verlegte elektrische Flachleitungen (sogenannte Stegleitungen).The invention relates to a junction box for electrical flat cables laid under plaster (so-called flat cables).

Bei bekannten Abzweigdosen dieser Art sind die Klemmen, die zum Verbinden der in der Dose mündenden Leitungen dienen, entweder lose oder auf besonderen Einsätzen befestigt, im Mittelrahmen der Dose untergebracht. Diese Anordnungsweise erschwert die sachgemäße Verlegung der miteinander zu verbindenden Leitungsenden. Die Leitungsenden müssen dabei sehr häufig um die einzelnen Klemmen herumgeschlungen werden. Dabei ist es oft nicht zu vermeiden, dass die Isolierung der Leitungsenden an den Klemmen selbst und vor allen Dingen an den aus Klemmen herausragenden Drahtwenden gedrückt und beschädigt wird. In räumlicher Beziehung lassen sich die Leitungsenden bei dieser bekannten Anordnungsweise nur dann in der Dose unterbringen, wenn sie mehrmals übereinander gelegt werden. Das bedingt eine unverhältnismässig grosse Bauhöhe der bekannten Dosen. Um diese hochgebauten Dosen vor dem Putz nicht vorstehen zu lassen, war es notwendig, sie in das Mauerwerk einzustemmen. Der Erfindung liegt nun die Aufgabe zugrunde, den Abzweigdosen der eingangs erwähnten Art eine solche Form zu geben, daß sie ohne Mauereinstemmungen bündig mit dem Putz verlegt werden können und ausserdem die elektrischen Verhältnisse der Dose gegenüber den bekannten Dosen verbessert werden. Das ist nach der Erfindung dadurch geschehen, daß die Klemmen für die Verbindung der in der Dose mündenden Leitungsenden an oder in die Seitenwand der Dose verlegt sind. Zweckmässig sind dabei an der Seitenwand Aussparungen vorgesehen, die als Führungsschlitze für die Klemmen dienen. Durch diese Verlegung der Klemmen an die Peripherie der Dose bleibt praktisch der gesamte Innenraum der Dose für die Unterbringung der Leitungsenden frei. Die Leitungsenden können daher sachgemäss vorwiegend nebeneinander und nur an einzelnen Stellen einmal übereinander verlegt werden. Die Bauhöhe der Dose kann daher so niedrig gehalten werden, dass sie die Stärke einer normalen Putzschicht nicht überschreitet. Ausserdem sind die in elektrischer Hinsicht empfindlichen Klemmstellen an Stellen verlegt, wo sie mit den Leitungsenden nicht in Berührung kommen können, so dass Beschädigungen, die durch eine solche Berührung leicht eintreten können, sicher vermieden sind.The invention is based on the object of giving the junction boxes of the type mentioned at the outset such a shape that they can be laid flush with the plaster without jamming the wall and, moreover, the electrical conditions of the box are improved compared to the known boxes.
