Im Hauptpatent ist ein umlaufender Wanderrost in Band- oder Ringform fur die Sinterung von Erzen und Huttenerzeugnissen , Herstellung von Zement, Durchführung endothermer Reaktionen, Behandlung von Brennstoffen und andere ähnliche Zwecke beschrieben, bei dem es darauf ankommt, dass die bei solchen Sintermaschinen u.dgl. übliche grossräumig® Einrichtung (Zyklon) zur Entstaubung der Luft oder Gase, die durch einzeln oder in Gruppen an eine gemeinsame Saugleitung angeschlossene Saugräume durch die das Behandlungsgut tragende Rostflache hindurch abgesaugt werden, in Wegfall gebracht und durch mehrere zwischen den einzelnen Saugräumen, oder einer Gruppe von Saugräumen und der gemeinsamen Saugleitung eingeschaltete Einzelentstauber ersetzt ist.
