Nach Fig. 1 steht das Lesegerät auf einer Fläche 11 und besitzt eine rednerpultförmige Formgebung. Der z. B. aus Holz bestehende Pultkasten 12 trägt als Pultfläche die rückseitig ausgeleuchtete Lesefläche in Form einer Überfangglasscheibe 13. Darüber sind die Vorrichtung 14 für das Einsetzen und Verschieben der Mikroaufnahme, die in einem Gehäuse 15 untergebrachte Lichtquelle und ein Handgriff 16 angeordnet. Das Gehäuse hat zur Wärmeabführung schuppenartige Schlitze 17, die gegen den Beschauer abgeblendet sind. Zwischen den letzteren befindet sich der Bildrahmen 26, der den Mikrofilm oder die Mikroplatte vorteilhaft zwischen zwei Glasplatten trägt. Dieser Rahmen ist dadurch beliebt einstellbar.
