Hosenklammern sind in mehreren Ausführungen bekannt geworden. Eingeführt hat sich indes vielerorts nur die einfache Bügelklammer, bei der gegen Abgleiten am äußeren Schenkel später noch ein Auge angerollt wurde. Dies brachte dann allerdings den Nachteil, dass sich die Klammer am Hosenumschlag leicht festhakte und denselben abscheuerte.Trouser clips are known in several designs.
