Den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet eine Neuerung an verstellbaren Pferdekummeten, sowie Kummeten überhaupt, die dahin zielt, den vom Kummet auf die Pferdebrust als Druck übertragenen Zug in allen Graden der Verstellung oder bei Verwendung eines gewöhnlichen Kummets für verschieden hohe Pferde in günstigster Weise zu vertheilen, wodurch auch die Beanspruchung des Kummets selbst eine möglichst schonende wird - und dessen Haltbarkeit sich erhöht.
