Auch sind Pinsel bekannt (amerikanisches Patent Nr. 371899), bei welchen das Borstenbüschel in der Mitte einen durchgehenden, freien Raum besitzt, durch welchen man die, im Pinselstiel befindliche Farbe periodisch in Tropfen direct auf die zu streichende Fläche auffallen läfst. Diese Uebelstände werden nun nach vorliegender Erfindung dadurch beseitigt, dafs die um einen mit Löchern versehenen Kegelstumpf befestigten Borsten in das entsprechend konisch gestaltete, untere Ende des hohlen Pinselstieles so eingesetzt sind, dafs die Unterkante des Kegelstumpfes von der Unterkante des Pinselstieles um so viel überragt wird, dafs unterhalb des Kegelstumpfes ein freier Raum entsteht, der aber durch die von der Unterkante des Pinselstieles zusammengedrückten Borsten wieder geschlossen ist. Dieser freie Raum wird durch die Löcher des Kegelstumpfes beständig mit Farbe gefüllt erhalten und bildet innerhalb der Borsten einen Farbebehälter, aus welchem die Borsten continuirlich durch Capillarität die Farbe gleichmäfsig ansaugen bezw. gleichmäfsig gespeist werden.
