Dieses Doppelelement hat ferner den Vorzug, dafs der innere Flüssigkeitsvorrath die Wandungen des porösen Kohlencylinders in demselben Mafse durchdringt, in welchem die äufsere Erregerpaste seine Feuchtigkeit verliert, so dafs das innere Element das äufsere beständig regenerirt, während beide Elemente unabhängig von einander zur Verwendung gelangen können. Ein weiterer Vortheil dieses Doppelelementes besteht darin, dafs, wie sorgfältige Beobachtungen ergeben haben, einer Polarisation jedes einzelnen Elementes bei getrennter Inanspruchnahme der beiden Zinkelektroden auf das Wirksamste vorgebeugt wird.The element produced in the manner described is a double element.
