Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Pflug mit einem feststehenden und einem verstellbaren Streichbrett, welcher sich gegenüber ähnlichen Pflügen dadurch .auszeichnet, dafs die von beliebiger Breite und Tiefe zu ziehende Furche bis zur Furchensohle rechtwinklig hergestellt wird. Zu diesem Zweck dient das bis zur Furchensohle reichende verstellbare Streichbrett. Es wird vielmehr nur das zwischen der vorderen Spitze a¹ des Schares und dem Punkt α³ liegende Stück gewendet werden, während das zwischen dem Punkt a³ und der hinteren Spitze α⁴ befindliche Stück wieder zurücksinkt. Auf diese Weise wird eine schmale Furche gebildet. Um das von dem Streichbrett b nicht gewendete und in seine ursprüngliche Lage zurückgesunkene Erdreich ebenfalls ganz oder theilweise bei Seite zu schaffen, ist unmittelbar hinter dem Streichbrett b ein um die Achse c drehbar gelagertes Streichbrett c¹ angebracht, und zwar derart, dafs dasselbe mittels eines daran befestigten und mit Stelllöchern d¹ versehenen Bügels d in jede gewünschte Winkellage,- wie es die Breite der herzustellenden Furche bedingt, gebracht, werden kann. Die Unterkante des Streichbrettes c¹ liegt mit der Schneide des Schares in einer Ebene; die Lage der Oberkante richtet sich je nach dem Tiefgang des Pfluges. Soll die breiteste Furche mit diesem Pflug hergestellt werden, so mufs sich das Streichbrett c¹ in der in Fig. 2 dargestellten Lage befinden; zur Herstellung der schmälsten Furche ist das Streichbrett in die punktirt gezeichnete Lage zu bringen.The cutting edge a ^{1 of} the coulter α is wider than the mouldboard b, so that the soil separated from the cutting edge cannot be completely turned from the mouldboard.
