Der Vorhang besteht im Wesentlichen aus einem Gelenkparallelogramm α und den mittelst Oesen b daran aufgehängten Bahnen c aus Holzdrahtgewebe oder einem sonst geeigneten Material. Einer der Querstege dieses mittelst Zapfen d am Fenstersturz befestigten Gelenkparallelogrammes trägt ein Zahnrad f, in welches ein Zahnbogen g eingreift, der, durch die über die Rollen h geführten Schnüre / bewegt, ein Verschieben des Parallelogrammes und damit ein Einstellen der Bahnen c bewirkt. An den unteren Enden der Bahnen sind aus Draht gebogene, dreieckige Oesen k befestigt, die in einen einfachen Draht auslaufen, welcher durch einen Schlitz I des unterhalb der Bahnen an Schnüren m aufgehängten Brettes η tritt und mit einer am Brett η befestigten Feder 0 verbunden ist. Die Form der Schlitze / ist rechteckig, und zwar ist die längere Seite des Rechtecks quer zum Brett η gerichtet.
