Description
Non-irritating bandage fabric The present invention relates to a complete, non-irritating bandage fabric for bandages and non-irritating surgical material. for example for the production of swabs, tampon or drainage material. as well as others Dressing materials.
Non-irritating bandage fabrics have already been described which are made of liquid-permeable, seamless plastic fabrics, made of threads or ribbons (German patent specification 695 783 French patent specification g28 652).
The present invention relates to the same subject matter, however the product obtained is even more slim compared to the one described earlier more conformable. In accordance with the present invention, all tissue is made from flat strands of artificial silk fibers that are not twisted or twisted together, which contain a larger number, for example a hundred individual (endless) threads can. The invention is based on the knowledge that indeed there are many individual non-twisted or twisted fibers into existing flat strands lead without gaps and irritation-free tissues. One can use the ones used to make the fabric Flatten the strands before weaving them, if necessary to maintain the treat flat shape when weaving by impregnation; but you can also do that Press the fabric flat only after its completion by calendering or the like, so that the individual thread bundles, pressed flat, lay tightly against one another and open these Way result in a seamless fabric that meets the conditions the gaplessness, fluid permeability and lack of irritation is sufficient. Man kaml after interweaving, if necessary, impregnation, provided it is soluble and removable can also be removed afterwards and is then given a particularly pliable, Tissue useful for bandages. But you can also choose an impregnation, which can only be incorporated into the finished tissue afterwards and which are insoluble is, so that one is liquid-permeable, but not swellable and therefore does not receive liquid-absorbing product itself.
For such impregnations you can, for example, synthetic resin or Use synthetic resin-forming solutions that are also subsequently hardened in the fabric can.
Both those made of hydrate cellulose can be used as rayon threads and cellulose derivatives as well as from other plastics, for example from polyamides or polyvinyl compounds. Basically here is the material itself from which the thread is made is unimportant, provided that it is only meets the requirement of non-irritation in the subsequent dressing tissue. An important The requirement of the bandage fabric produced is, in addition to its lack of irritation Gaplessness, the permeability for liquids and also for gases, whereby the material from which the thread is made itself has a liquid absorption capacity need not own.
Since the bandage material performance only in connection with absorbent materials occurs, which have the effect of a rapid drainage of secretions, so one can, for example also these fabrics in a manner already known per se with layers of cellulose wadding or the like and then use this combined product as a wound dressing, wherein the tissue layer is placed on the wound to be treated. Furthermore can to soak all of these tissues with antiseptics.
PhTNT CLAIM: Irritant, as complete as possible, but still permeable to liquid Fabrics for dressings. especially for the production of swabs and others Fabric and bandage materials, characterized in that the entire fabric is made of flat strands of artificial silk fibers that are not twisted or twisted together consists.
