Bei automatischen Tiegeldruckpressen mit umlaufenden Greifern ist es bekannt, das Schutzschild vor den Greifern beweglich bzw. schwenkbar auszubilden und es etwa durch einen Bowdenzug mit einer mechanischen Ein- und Ausrückvorrichtung für der' Maschinenantrieb zu kuppeln, so daß die Maschine und damit auch die Greiferbewegung durch Verschwenken des Schutzschildes unmittelbar zum Stillstand gebracht werden kann. Es ist ferner bekannt, an verschiedenen Stellen der Maschine weitere Zu- und Abschalthandgriffe vorzusehen, die miteinander gekuppelt sind. Diese Einrichtungen eignen sich zwar zum üblichen Ein- und Ausschalten der Maschine von verschiedenen Stellen aus, bieten aber keinen ausreichenden Schutz gegen unbeabsichtigtes Wiedereinschalten. Dieser Mangel der bekannten Ausbildung wird gemäß der Erfindung dadurch behoben, daß an automatischen Tiegeldruckpressen mit umlaufenden Greifern zum An- und Ablegen der Bogen, einem vor den Greifern angeordneten beweglichen Schutzschild und einer mechanischen Ausrückvorrichtung, die auch durch die Bewegung des Schutzschildes betätigt werden kann, weitere, an verschiedenen Stellen der Maschine angeordnete Organe, wie bewegliche Handgriffe od. dgl., vorgesehen sind, die mit der Ausrückvorrichtung und einer mit dieser zusammenarbeitenden Verriegelungseinrichtung gegen Wiedereinrücken der Maschine in Wirkverbindung stehen.
