Die Erfindung betrifft ein dehnbares Uhrarmband aus Leder oder dessen Austauschstoffen. Uhrarmbänder aus Leder werden solchen aus Metall vielfach vorgezogen, weil· Leder gleich der Haut warm, weich und porös ist und sich daher angenehmer trägt als kaltes, hartes und undurchlässiges Metall. Die Metalluhrarmbänder werden aber trotz dieser materiellen Mängel bevorzugt, weil sie dehnbar sind und sich daher leicht ungeöffnet über die Hand streifen lassen. Es sind neuerdings auch dehnbare Lederuhrarmbänder bekanntgeworden, deren Bauart aber nicht ganz befriedigen kann. Bei einem bekannten dehnbaren Lederuhrarmband, das aus zwei scheidenförmigen Teilen besteht, ist ein deren Trennfuge überbrückendes dehnbares Stück Gummiband an oder nahe den hinteren Enden der scheidenförmigen Bandhälften im Innern derselben befestigt. Es ist außerdem ein Band bekannt, das aus einer einteiligen äußeren Hülle und einem in diese Hülle eingeschobenen dehnbaren Band besteht, das so schmal ist, daß es jederzeit ausgewechselt werden kann. Bei diesen Bändern ist aber nur ein kurz bemessenes dehnbares Stück eingefügt, so daß dasselbe beim Überstreifen des gesdhlossenen Uhrarmbandes über die Hand überbeansprucht wird und bald seine Elastizität verliert. Die Erfindung betrifft nun ein verbessertes dehnbares Uhrarmband, bei welchem die geschilderten Mängel behoben sind.The invention relates to a stretchable watch strap made of leather or its substitute materials. Das Uhrarmband (Abb. 1) weist zwei scheidenförmige Armbandhälften a, b auf.
