Anschließend wird die Wolle, ohne zu spülen, geschleudert und bei etwa 70° getrocknet und dann auf iio bis i4o° während ro bis 15 Minuten erhitzt. Die so behandelte Wolle ist krumpffest. Dieser Effekt bleibt auch nach einer Säurebehandlung erhalten.
