bewirkt. The subject of the invention is one which can be used for all types of vehicle
Cushioning, which means a variable flexibility and a constant period of oscillation
possesses and at the same time a very effective stabilization of the vehicle in inclined positions
causes.
an.
Fig.2 einer hinteren Triebachse. As is well known, the feeling of comfort felt in a vehicle depends
largely on the period of oscillation of the sprung mass. This period of oscillation
is expediently between 0.6 and 0.9 seconds. When coordinating the period of oscillation
of the front axle and the rear axle, each galloping movement is also complete
suppressed. For this there is a cushioning with variable and constant flexibility
The period of oscillation is particularly advantageous in vehicles with large loads, namely
as a result of the large load fluctuations that occur during this. The payload of a
Such a vehicle is about equal to the dead weight of the same, so that the
sprung total weight is variable in a ratio of 1: 2. The invention seeks
cushioning that is sufficient even for these difficult conditions by means of an axle suspension
with automatically variable elasticity and limitation of the lean angle of vehicles
at. Axle suspensions of this type are per se, in which the wheel axle is attached to the vehicle frame
hinged parallelogram links are attached, which are located in the vehicle's longitudinal axis
move, already known. However, torsion springs are usually used for cushioning
used, and the handlebar parallelogram is always at several points on the vehicle frame
hinged. In contrast to this, in the axle suspension according to the invention, each
the handlebar parallelograms on the side members of the chassis with only one hinge point
hinged, and all joints of the handlebar parallelograms are designed as rubber joints,
which are so stressed to torsion with transverse vibrations of the axis that they the
Limit the inclination of the vehicle, with the ends of the wheel axle on leaf spring assemblies
is attached, the ends of which between per se known wide jaws on the longitudinal beams
of the vehicle frame movably supported on inclined surfaces in a manner known per se
are. So you get better work of all parts and greater effectiveness
the braking, the moment of which results in a pulling and pushing effect on the arms of the parallelogram
is converted. In the case of the drive axis, you prevent the rearing up and maintain a
correct working of the transmission universal joints while working on the steering axis
gets exactly right steering, giving smooth and precise control
and the elimination of compensating springs in the track levers. Working examples
the axle suspension according to the invention are explained with reference to drawings, and
although Fig. I shows a side view of the suspension of a front steering axle and

Backen 6, 6' vorgesehen.
seitlichen Ausschlag verhindern.
On longitudinal members 5 of the chassis are inclined surfaces 4 between wide
Jaws 6, 6 'provided. The ends of leaf spring assemblies I are on these inclined surfaces
4 movably supported and are guided between the jaws 6, 6 ', which one
prevent lateral rash. The leaf spring assemblies I are attached by means of a bracket 2
attached to the ends of the wheel axle 7. Two coupling rods 8 and 9 are provided,
which on the one hand by rubber joints Io and II on a rigidly connected to the bracket .2
Arm 12 and on the other hand by rubber joints 13 and 14 on a second full or
recessed arm 15 are articulated. The handlebar parallelogram formed in this way
is only fixed in the hinge point 14 on the longitudinal member 5, while the point 13 is free
is. The coupling rods 8, 9 and the arms 12, 15 of the handlebar parallelogram can
each consist of a single rigid rod or by combining several
Rods are formed.
